The Mystery box (also known as the Magic Box, Random Box, Random Weapon Chest, Random Weapon Box, Toy Box, Help Box or most commonly the Box) is a random weapon generator which appears in all zombie maps.
Overview[]
The Mystery Box is in all the Devourer and Demon mode maps. Buying a weapon costs 1000 points. When the action button is pressed, the available weapons (listed below) will loop until one randomly selected weapon will stop. This process takes about 4-5 seconds. If the weapon isn't picked up in 12 seconds, the box will reset and it will be able to be opened again in 2 seconds. With the Fire Sale power up, the Mystery Box only costs 50 points, and is available at all spawn locations.

Black Skull[]
It is possible to obtain a black skull from the box. The black skull causes the box to rise up with flames, explodes and teleports elsewhere on the map with no useful weapon dispensed; a voice in the background laughs a demonic laugh at the player. If the player is near the box when it explodes, the player will be killed. No points you have spent will be given back to you and there is no indicator of the box's new location. The Box can spawn anywhere, but is marked by a blood red beam of light and small amounts smoke seeping through the lid. At some locations some players actually fear to get the Black Skull, as the Box may kill you or other players and move to a more inconvenient and horrified place, making your chances of finding it more rare. The Black Skull appears in the Box after being used four to six times. However, this is not a fixed amount.
